We are currently seeking a motivated Coffee Industrial Trainee to join our Indonesian operations, offering a comprehensive program designed to provide end-to-end exposure to coffee manufacturing.
## Program Overview and Core Responsibilities
This trainee position offers a robust foundation in safety, quality management, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance, ensuring you are practically prepared for long-term success in agro-processing roles.
Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)
* Ensure strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and Life Saving Rules.
* Manage Work Permit systems and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during maintenance and operations.
* Contribute to HIRA studies, risk assessments, and the implementation of engineering controls.
* Participate in SHE audits, toolbox talks, and detailed incident investigations.
Mill and Warehouse Operations
* Gain hands-on experience with milling machinery, including startup, shutdown, and sanitation procedures.
* Support food safety standards, including HACCP, OPRP, CCP, and PRP verification activities.
* Ensure compliance with traceability standards and EUDR requirements.
* Oversee warehouse logistics, including loading/unloading, dispatch planning, loss calculations, and FIFO implementation.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
* Master coffee analysis, sensory evaluation, and blending optimization.
* Assist with FSSC 22000 compliance, quality audits, and technical documentation.
* Drive operational efficiency through 5S, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Utilize Power BI to perform data analysis and visualization to support daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews.
Engineering Projects
* Develop and monitor project timelines using Gantt charts and progress tracking.
* Participate in project scoping, execution, and risk management strategies.
* Coordinate effectively with external vendors and contractors.
## Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must demonstrate a blend of technical expertise and professional aptitude. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
1. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Food, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. Technical Knowledge: A fundamental grasp of manufacturing environments, food safety principles (HACCP, CCP, PRP), and mass balance concepts.
3. Language Proficiency: The ability to work and communicate professionally in English.
4. Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a willingness to master data visualization tools like Power BI.
5. Practical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and an understanding of industrial processes or engineering systems.
